Survivor Bags - creating comforting kits for victims of abuse who are admitted to Advent Health DeLand

Operation Hometown Heroine Surprise - send care packages to local women currently serving in the armed forces

Christmas Surprise - buying Christmas gifts and wrapping paper to give to parents so they can give presents to their children.

Other projects include Shoes for You, Warm Jackets for Cool Kids, cooking at Interfaith Kitchen and the Visitation House, a Christmas party for the Boys and Girls Club, a Diaper Drive for Foster Children, and more.

Our Mission
The Junior Service League of DeLand is a non-profit charitable organization of women that has been committed to the improvement of our community through effective volunteerism and fundraising for over 90 years. We are active, dedicated women who are pledged to making a difference in our community by reaching out to those most in need, and educating ourselves regarding community issues and leadership.
