The Junior Service League of DeLand brings together women who care deeply about their community and want to create meaningful change. With diverse experiences and perspectives, our members work together through service and leadership to make a lasting impact in DeLand.
Our Mission
The Junior Service League of DeLand is a non-profit charitable organization of women that has been committed to the improvement of our community through effective volunteerism and fundraising for over 95 years. We are active, dedicated women who are pledged to making a difference in our community by reaching out to those most in need, and educating ourselves regarding community issues and leadership.
Our Purpose
The purpose of this league is to foster interest among its members in the social, economic, educational, cultural, and civic conditions of the community, and to make their volunteer service more efficient.
